To place an order, you will need a copy of your sight test prescription. Your prescription is usually valid for 2 years from your last eyetest,  If you are over 70, then your sight test is valid for 1 year from your eyetest. You must ensure that your prescription is valid before ordering. You must be over 16 to order glasses online.

(The time limits are in place, for your health of your eyes to be regularly checked, and it is for your benefit, that there is a time limit on your prescription).

When you have an eyetest, your Optician is legally obliged to hand you a copy of your prescription after the examination. You are then entitled to buy your glasses wherever you want to using that prescription. If you were not given a copy of your eyetest at your last visit, you can call into your opticians and request a copy.

The prescription should be clearly written, and you can also request for the pupillary distance to be written on the prescription. Do not worry if this is not included on your copy.

ORDERING ONLINE

Click the glasses you have chosen from the selection. Check you order the correct size and colour that you want from the option boxes. Simply key in the prescription details and select your lens choices. Remember if you have a distance and reading prescription, to choose whether the glasses you require are for distance or reading. If your want your glasses for both distance and reading then choose bifocals or varifocals. Remember to put ALL the details of your prescription into the details boxes. You may not need to fill in all sections, NOT EVERYBODY WILL HAVE 'CYLINDER', 'AXIS' or 'ADD' written on their prescriptions. If this is the case leave these sections at the default value.

Single Vision Plastic (CR39) are our standard lenses, and are FREE, as are Scratch Resistant Lenses. Other lens options are available.
